Yes, you heard it correct. The custom made Metal Gear Solid PS3 is back on eBay. The winning bid of $17000 turned out to be bogus. Now the seller has compiled of a list of the bidders from the eBay database. The new folks don’t have to worry, if you wish to bid too the only thing you have to do is approach the seller and you are on the list too.

Before you people start exiting this post I would like to tell you one thing. A portion of the earning that would be made from the bidding would go to Penny-Arcade.com’s “Child’s Play” Children’s hospital charity. The Charity have agreed to have 15% of the winning bid.

One last thing, the PS3 complete mod inspired by the incredible Metal Gear Solid saga and is by signed by Hideo Kojima.

In June 2008 Google proposed Yahoo for an advertising partnership which would result in competitive search engine, for the betterment of the internet. But on Wednesday, 5th November2008, the partnership broke even before starting.

The government antitrust regulators left Yahoo high and dry after they made it clear that they (Yahoo) should come up with a new growth plan. The agreement also forces Google squarely in the sight of the regulators which will have great affect in the ambitious growth of Google’s expansion.

According to Google and Yahoo, the deal was designed in such a way that it would not affect or reduce the competitors from the market of Web Search Advertising. The deal stated the Google would be able to place its ads along side Yahoo’s Search results. Shortly after, Google said it would walk away from the agreement. Regulators had been investigating the deal since June, and was objected by Microsoft and many large advertisers.

The Justice Department said;

Yahoo’s ad system generates less profit from each search than Google’s. It feared that the agreement would reduce Yahoo’s incentives to invest in its own search advertising business and opt instead of surrendering a larger portion of the search advertising market to Google.

But on the other hand Jerry Yang, Yahoo’s chief executive, said in San Francisco:

The deal was supposed to bring Yahoo $250 million to $450 million in additional cash flow in the first year.

Many analysts and investors have suggested that without the deal, Yahoo would be forced to consider one of two options: a deal with Microsoft or a merger with AOL. Yahoo and AOL, whose business has declined in recent months, have discussed a merger for months. Rumors have indicated a deal between Yahoo and Microsoft was imminent, but people close to both companies said that there were currently no talks between them.

Beatles fans this is the best news you could have heard the whole year. On October 29th 2008, MTV, Harmonix and the Beatles’ Apple Corps. LTD. announced that they will partner to create a video game based on the music of the Beatles, and its expected to release before the end of 2009.

Representatives from the three companies said that the game, which was conceived with input from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, will aim to feature the entire Beatles catalog and will offer an “experiential journey” of the band. This is the first time the Beatles music has been presented in an interactive, video game format.

Apple Corps CEO Jeff Jones Quotes that,

This game will take you on a journey from the Beatles first album Please Please Me until the last album at Abbey Road. It will span samples of the whole catalog all the way through. The three companies would not clarify whether Beatles content would be available for Rock Band or whether the game would feature avatars of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The project is a fun idea which broadens the appeal of the Beatles and their music.

McCartney said in a statement.

I like people having the opportunity to get to know the music from the inside out.

The acquisition of the video game rights to the Beatles catalog is a major, scale-tipping coup for Harmonix and MTV Games as they fight for music video game dominance over the like-minded Guitar Hero.

Yes that’s right you have read it correctly. Now your favorite search engine can be turned into a web-crawling, MP3 ripping demon player of you favorite songs.

First, a little bit of a primer on Google. The Search Engine itself has a bunch of extra bells and whistles beyond “AND”, “OR”, and “NOT” in defining your search queries. We’re not going to go through all of them now (Although that may be a good follow up article soon.), but suffice to say that if you spend enough time using Google, there are other search strings you can use to further narrow down your searches. (Check Advanced Google Searching for more Information.)

Copy / Paste the code below into your Google search box:

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “<BANDNAME/SONG>”

Where <BANDNAME/SONG> is either the name of the band you’re searching for music for OR the name of the song you’re looking for.

That’s the hack in a nutshell, but if you’re interested to see how it works, keep reading. Let’s take a few moments to dismantle it and see what is happening in the search query.

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:”index of”+”last modified” +”parent directory”

The first flag, -inurl restricts the Google queries without htm, html, and php pages, and has “index of” within the title. “Index Of” is a common flag that distinguishes website repositories; folder views of groupings of files on the internet. In a nutshell the first part of the query narrows down Google search results to pages you wouldn’t ordinarily see, but nonetheless are logged and tracked by Google as it parses the net for new content.

+description +size +(wma|mp3) “<BANDNAME/SONG>”

In particular, this search will narrow down these repositores to include only sites with wma and mp3 files related to the BANDNAME or SONG you are searching for.

Please note that, we at RKHub.com do not condone the illegal download of music: under federal law, if you own a copy of the correlating CD or published work of the author, you are entitled to a digital copy of the music. That is what this hack is for.

Sony has launched the latest edition of its PSP, PSP 2. But a Tai Chiem thinks that it could have been much better. As we all know that PSP 2 is almost similar to its previous version. But Tai Chiem thinks it could have been made a lot more better than it already is, by including some more extraordinary features.

Such as flexible OLED display that can be conveniently rolled. The display stiffens could be powered with the help of electric charge, which would intern be a great step forward for the gaming company. Stereo speakers on either side double as a jog wheel and camera control.

A source close to Tai Cheim quotes that,

Tai envisages Sony finally implementing two joysticks. Pipe dream or not, it’s sexy and lives up to its name; it don’t get any more portable than this.

What i would recommend is that you decide and tell which design is better the orginal or this one ??? Check out the photos below for more clarity.

Yesterday I was looking out for some good scripts when I stumbled upon “ScriptCopy.com” I don’t know much about the site except that it provides clone scripts for almost all the major sites. I mean it, you name the site and he has a clone script. However, not all scripts are the exact clone of the original site, as he has a good clone for YouTube.com, Hi5.com, Digg.com, Paypal.com and many more. I think he is trying to build a huge database of clone scripts and one day he will have clone scripts of all the major sites.

Well about the phone, it looks a very stylish and cool watch with a very slim display which includes only three indications ( network, clock and battery). I could not clearly make out from the image but I think there is also a VGA camera integrated; as I said I am not sure though. There are two circles, one in the other, in which number, answer and reject & the menu buttons are placed in the outer circle and the inner circle consists of a 5 way navigation button (i.e. what i think). Below are more pics of the phone, feel free to comment on it.
